  • 30-40 crackers Saltine Crackers
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 24 oz Dark Chocolate Chips (2 bags of 12 oz each)

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
  • Step 3: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add dark brown sugar and boil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 4: Pour the hot caramel over the saltine crackers and use a rubber spatula to spread it evenly.
  • Step 5: Bake the crackers in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  • Step 6: Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  • Step 7: Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel-coated crackers and spread it evenly.
  • Step 8: Sprinkle kosher salt over the chocolate while it’s still warm.
  • Step 9: Let the bark cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  • Step 10: Once set, break the bark into pieces and enjoy!
