Ingredients

  • 16 ounces pizza dough
  • Cornmeal for dusting

  • 8 ounces goat cheese softened
  • 1/2 pint blackberries fresh
  • Fresh lemon thyme for garnish
  • Fresh cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  • On a clean, floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape, aiming for about 12 inches in diameter.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of cornmeal onto your pizza stone or baking sheet to prevent sticking.
  • Transfer the shaped dough onto the prepared surface.
  • Lightly brush the surface of the dough with olive oil using a pastry brush.
  • Spread the softened goat cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Scatter fresh blackberries over the goat cheese.
  • Sprinkle fresh cracked pepper and add a few sprigs of fresh lemon thyme on top.
  • Bake the pizza in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
