Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Flatten each slice of bread to about half its thickness using a rolling pin.
Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and whole milk until fully combined.
Step 3: Grease a muffin tin. Press each flattened bread slice into the muffin cup to create a bowl.
Step 4: Evenly distribute the mixed berries into each bread cup.
Step 5: Pour the custard mixture over the bread and berries until soaked but not overflowing.
Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the custard is set.
Step 7: Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the muffin tin. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup.
