Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pinch nutmeg
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas, mashed

Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon until fully combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Lightly grease the waffle maker. Pour the appropriate amount of batter onto the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the waffles and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
