  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Glaze Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • to taste Sautéed Apples For garnish if desired

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until combined. Toss in the sliced apples and cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender and caramelized. Remove from heat.
  • Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Step 3: Pour the apple mixture into an oven-safe baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Pour the pancake batter over the apples, ensuring everything is well covered.
  • Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until the pancake puffs up and turns golden brown.
  • Step 5: While the pancake is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and ground cinnamon until smooth. Adjust the consistency as needed.
  • Step 6: Once baked, remove the pancake from the oven and let it cool slightly. Drizzle the glaze over the pancake and garnish with more sautéed apples if desired. Slice and serve warm.
