Ingredients

For the Mushrooms:

  • 16 oz Button Mushrooms fresh and firm
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil helps achieve crispy texture
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce or Tamari for gluten-free option
  • 3 Tbsp Vegan Parmesan Cheese adds cheesy flavor
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder for flavor
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper for heat
  • 2 tsp Fresh Thyme for garnish

Instructions

Method:

  • Step 1: Prepare the Mushrooms. Clean the 16 oz button mushrooms under cold water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. Trim off the stems if necessary.
  • Step 2: Mix the Ingredients. In a mixing bowl, combine avocado oil, soy sauce or tamari, garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper. Add mushrooms and toss until coated.
  • Step 3: Air Fry the Mushrooms. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and place the coated mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Step 4: Cook and Shake. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Step 5: Add Vegan Parmesan. Remove mushrooms from the air fryer and sprinkle with vegan Parmesan cheese and fresh thyme. Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
