Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage I recommend using Jimmy Dean for great flavor and consistency.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened and cut into cubes for easy melting
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes 10-ounce, undrained

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the breakfast sausage. Using a spatula, break it apart as it cooks until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Once the sausage is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and fully incorporated.
  • Pour in the entire can of undrained Rotel tomatoes. Stir until well combined and allow to warm for an additional 2-3 minutes.
