Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg whole
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • More Nutella for glazing
  • Hazelnuts optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the 2/3 cup of Nutella, 1 whole egg, and 1 egg yolk. Use a whisk to blend these ingredients together until smooth and well incorporated.
  • Gradually add the 6 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the Nutella mixture. Continue to whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  • Lightly grease your donut pan. Fill each donut cavity with the batter about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the donuts spring back when lightly touched.
  • Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Melt additional Nutella and dip the tops of the cooled donuts for glazing.
  • Optionally, sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top of the glazed donuts.
